What Women are asking

Topic: Myths

Q:
Is there any use trying to control bladder leaks? Aren’t they just a part of getting older?
Asked 281 Days Ago
A:
There are two common misconceptions here. 1. That LBL only happens to older women, and 2. You can’t do anything to stop it as you get older. LBL happens to women of all ages, for a number of different reasons. And it’s not hopeless. In fact, according to the U.S. Agency for Health Care Policy and Research, 86% of people with bladder control loss who seek medical treatment realize an improvement, which sometimes includes complete restoration of bladder control.
